What it does on the forehead
In our experience, the skin of the forehead tightens and etched lines soften a little as the collagen rebuilds; lines that show only when the brow moves are a muscle question, and the clinician says so at the free consultation. The lines stay above the brow, as the label warns against the eyes and the orbital rim.
What the study measured
In the 2010 study, 35 people were evaluated after one treatment of the forehead, temples, cheeks, under the chin and the side of the neck, with the brow measured higher by blinded assessment. The forehead has no endpoint of its own. The full-face page sets out the figures.
The session and the result
About 30 minutes for the forehead and brow, or 60 to 90 with the face, with a comfort plan agreed beforehand; redness for a few hours, swelling for a day or three, tenderness for up to two weeks. The result builds over three to six months, when we photograph it, and holds for around a year in our experience.
